Office Policies

Cancellation Policy
There is a charge for missed appointments and cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance of the appointment day. This charge is $50 for initial new patient visits or electrodiagnostic tests, and $25 for follow-up appointments. This fee is payable prior to any further appointments being scheduled. Depending on circumstances for the missed appointment, the office may waive the cancellation fee.

Snow Cancellation Policy
It is expected that patients will call on the day of the appointment to let us know if they are able to make it in the case of a snowstorm. If a big snowstorm is expected our office may call the day before to let patients know if we are closing for the day.

Refill Policy
A 24 hour notice is required for refills of medications. Refills for controlled substances cannot be made on the weekends by doctors covering for your primary neurologist. Please anticipate and prepare accordingly and request refills in a timely manner. It is the patient's responsibilty to ensure that refills are up to date.
